Run by experienced fashion designer, textile artist and tutor Sue Browne,

FASHIONSKOOL offers fun, creative, inspirational and educational classes for all ages and skill levels in fashion, textiles, sewing and crafting from her light and airy home work-space near Alexandra Palace in north London.

Whether you are learning to sew for the first time, wishing to develop your technical skills or looking for new creative challenges, FASHIONSKOOL's affordable workshops, term-time clubs for children and teens, and adult dressmaking courses will provide confidence and life-long sewing skills.

FASHIONSKOOL provides it's own exclusive patterns in on-trend styles for it's holiday workshops whilst, during term time pre-teens, teens and adult dressmaking classes will teach you how to construct garments and accessories using your own choice of commercial pattern and fabric.

The after-school Sewing Club for primary-aged children and Pre-teen's Fashion & Textiles Club for older children offer a wide range of small and large projects, all of which are are tailored to the group's skill level.

Take a look at the 'GALLERY' to get an idea of the things the students love to make at FASHIONSKOOL!

Group sizes are kept deliberately small to ensure that everyone receives plenty of attention and the atmosphere remains relaxed and friendly.

For your reassurance, Sue is externally DBS-checked and first-aid trained.

1:1 private sewing lessons are available for complete beginners, those with a specific project to tackle,

anyone studying fashion/textiles at GCSE, A-level or similar level, who feels in need of some supplementary tuition. 1:1 lessons are also available for successful portfolio-building direction for art foundation or fashion degree courses.

Please contact the sewing school through the CONTACT page for any further information.
